This year OFN celebrates its 25th annual Conference. We will mark the occasion on October 28th at the Opening Plenary of the 2009 Conference, when the industry’s early pioneers will take us back in time to learn and explore our industry’s history. But why stop there? We'll then invite some of the industry’s rising stars—those who will help create the next 25 years of history—to offer their observations on where we are today and where the industry is going.

Who are those future leaders? Tell us who you think are the emerging industry leaders.

Leadership can be defined in many ways. Some of the experiences and attributes we are looking for in a future leader include:

• Is a current or former opportunity finance practitioner, funder, or investor who demonstrates a long-term commitment to opportunity finance.
• Demonstrates the ability to lead the industry through transformational change.
• Is able to build effective partnerships that benefit the industry as a whole.
• Possesses other qualities that make him/her a compelling leader that you and others will want to follow.
