Beyond OFN's 200+ Members, CDFIs and other opportunity finance institutions are doing important work in our nation's low-income, low-wealth, and other disadvantaged communities. The US Treasury Department's CDFI Fund has certified more than 900 CDFIs—including most OFN Members—that together manage $50 billion in assets, according to the Fund. These include more than 600 community development loan funds, 200 community development credit unions, 85 community development banks, and 25 venture capital funds.
