Community Development Banking ListServ (CDB-L)
CommunityDevelopmentBanking-L is an active, free, ongoing e-mail discussion resource. Since 1994, this list has served community development practitioners including Credit Unions, Banks, CDCs, Loan Funds, trade associations, regulators, governments and partner non-profits.
In the past year, the discussions have focused on the banking bailout, mortgage foreclosure, and subprime lending. Job postings and Seminars were popular, but the range included Advocacy, Awards, CDFI, CRA, Governance and Planning, Grants, Green development, Housing, Investments, Immigrants, Impact, Innovative Ideas, Insurance, International, Land Bank, Local Currency Networks, Microenterprise, NMTC, Partnerships, Savings, Software, Urban Development, Vita, and Youth Entrepreneurship.
